Sally St Clair
Sally was born in London, and went to school in Blackheath. Following a family move to Frinton-on-Sea she briefly attended Colchester School of Art. Sally continues to draw and paint.
'Sally's Tarts', established in 1978 was one of the first wholefood organic bakeries in the UK, supplying local wholefood shops and events with cakes. Sally's pink and white striped marquee became a fixture at festivals and fairs between 1979 and 1987.
She has a degree in Biology and Education from the University of York and a post-graduate diploma in Biographical Counselling from Emerson College.
Sally lives in the beautiful Alpujarras in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Southern Spain. She likes it more than Virginia Woolf did, (Gerald Brenan in South From Granada, 1957).
Finally, there is time enough to devote to writing. A first novel, 'Twenty Eight Days' (working title), is in progress. Poetry and short stories are published in magazines and anthologies.
